I gave an invited seminar at the Institute for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (DSAI), Boğaziçi University, titled “Toward Reliable AI for 3D Visual Perception and Scene Understanding.”

My talk was about teaching machines to see in three dimensions from ordinary images and video, and about where I want to take that work next. The goal is AI that knows when it does not know, which is what robotics and digital twins will need before they can trust it.
